ABOUT US
Hope Church Woodley started (as Carey Woodley) in September 2023 and is a church plant from Carey Baptist Church in central Reading.
We meet every Sunday at 10:30am at Rivermead School (Addington Gardens, RG5 4BS) and everyone is welcome to join us!

Our congregation has people of various ages and in different life circumstances. Some have been Christians for years, others are exploring the Christian faith.
​
The congregation is led by David Magowan, one of the pastors at Carey Baptist Church. Our Church is affiliated with the FIEC - The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. You can view our Statement of Faith here

What's On?

We meet every Sunday at 10:30am at Rivermead School, and everyone is welcome to join us!
​
Our services last about an hour and include singing, prayers, a children’s talk, a Bible reading, and a talk based on the Bible. The children stay in for the first part of the service and then go out to creche (pre-school) and to Sunday School (up to Year 6). Refreshments are served after the service.
​
We also meet in LIFEgroups twice a month on a Wednesday or a Thursday evening in local homes, and have a ‘Praise & Prayer’ meeting at 7:45pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at Rivermead School.
